I start my 200 hour yoga teacher training today. Over the course of the next 11 weeks I will be completely immersed in all things yoga and I am beyond excited that this day is finally here. I’m nervous too! I am already stressing about how I will balance work and training, but I have faith that this training will be so beneficial in keeping me grounded.
To be completely open and honest with you I have fallen off with my meditation practice. Through the chaos of the move and finding my way in this city I let it go. Instead of taking 20 minutes in the morning to sit in silence, I now grab my phone and mindlessly check my social media and email. I know this is terrible. The fact I know this is terrible and still do it is the problem. I also know how beneficial meditating is and I can feel the difference when I do.
I’m hoping that training will guide me back to meditation and take me even further. If I think about it, this teacher training has amazing timing. I need this right now.
I am ready and eager to learn and grow and I don’t really know what to expect, but I am diving in head first with all my heart.
